Uniforms at St Marys' School:

St. Mary's school requires its students to in order to encourage the virtues of chastity, humility and obedience. 

A uniform is required for students throughout the school year except for special days deemed appropriate by the principal. The blue shorts and pants and the girl’s plaid shorts, skirts, and jumpers must be purchased from Parker School Uniforms located in the Colonnade Shopping Center, 9638 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, 405. 748-6066. The uniform requirements are listed below and are on file at Parker School Uniforms. The shirt, navy blue school sweatshirt, navy blue school cardigan sweater and socks are not required to be purchased from Parker School Uniforms.


Montessori Uniform:

Boys and Girls:

  • Red St. Mary’s Catholic School T-shirt available in the office
  • Navy Blue elastic waist shorts or pants
  • Tennis shoes are recommended. No sandals, heels, clog or open shoes; this includes CROC style shoes/clogs.

Kindergarten – Fifth Grade Uniform:

Boys' Uniforms:

  • Plain (no logo) Red or white knit shirt – long or short sleeve
  • Plain Red or white knit turtleneck
  • Navy blue twill pleated pants or Navy blue walking shorts
  • Navy or white socks
  • Black, brown, navy or white shoes, in any combination
  • Shirts must be tucked in
  • Grades 2 – 7 must wear a belt

Girls' Uniforms:

  • Plaid (green, yellow and navy) jumper
  • Plaid (green, yellow and navy) walking shorts
  • Navy blue slacks
  • Red or white knit shirt – long or short sleeve
  • Red or white knit turtleneck
  • White peter pan collared blouse
  • Red, navy, yellow, hunter green or white Ankle or knee-high socks
  • Smooth or opaque red, navy, hunter green, white or sheer tights
  • Black, brown, navy or white shoes, in any combination
  • Shirts must be tucked in
  • On Mass days, Girls are required to wear a skirt or jumper

Sixth-Seventh Grade Uniform:

Boys' Uniforms:

  • Khaki or Navy Blue twill pleated pants or shorts
  • Navy Blue, red or white kit shirt – long or short sleeve
  • Black, brown, navy, or white shoes, in any combination
  • Shirts must be tucked in Belts must be worn

Girls' Uniforms:

  • Khaki or Navy Blue pleated pants
  • Khaki skirt with box pleats
  • Plaid (green, yellow and navy) skirt/jumper/walking shorts
  • Navy Blue, red or white kit shirt – long or short sleeve
  • Red, navy, yellow, hunter green or white
    Ankle or knee-high socks
  • Smooth or opaque red, navy, hunter green, white or sheer tights
  • Black, brown, navy or white shoes, in any combination
  • Shirts must be tucked in
  • On Mass days, Girls are required to wear a skirt or jumper.
  • Shoes: Tennis shoes are recommended since P.E. classes are held daily. Shoes must be properly laced. No sandals, heels, clog or open shoes; this includes CROC style shoes/clogs

Cold Weather:

Students may wear a plain navy blue sweater/sweatshirt or a St. Mary’s sweatshirt in the classroom


Attire on Free Choice Days


Dress is expected to be conservative, appropriate and modest at all times. Students may wear jeans that fit, do not sag and have no holes in them. T-shirts are acceptable as long as they do not contain unacceptable language or advertise alcohol, tobacco products or concerts. Neither girls nor boys may wear tank tops. Young ladies who wish to wear skirts, dresses, or shorts may not have a hemline shorter than three inches above the knee. Crop tops are unacceptable, and midriffs must be covered at all times. Open toe or sling shoes are not permitted.


Hair and Makeup


Cosmetics or make-up are not to be used during school hours or worn during the school day.
No excess jewelry. Post “ear” rings for females only (No body piercing).
No coloring of hair, or use of tints, frost or colored gels on hair. A neat, conservative hairstyle of reasonable length (i.e. collar length for boys) is required. Hair must be clean and combed.


Other Attire


Brownie, Cub, Girl/Boy Scout uniforms may be worn on meeting days, but the complete uniform must be worn. The Campfire shirt and vest are to be worn with the uniform shorts or pants.


Non-Compliance of Uniform Code


Teachers are required to report non-compliance of the uniform code. Parents will be notified to bring a uniform to school if we are unable to find a suitable replacement from the uniform exchange room. After the third infraction, the student will be denied participation in the next free choice day
